NutriPulse ("we", "us") is a practice-management tool for nutritionists and dietitians. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who this applies to

NutriPulse is used by two kinds of people: the nutritionist who holds an account, and that nutritionist's clients, who submit progress updates through a private link the nutritionist sends them. Clients do not create an account or a password.

2. What we collect

• Nutritionist account data: name, email address, practice name, and an optional profile photo.
• Client records you add: name, phone number, email, goals, and program dates.
• Progress data your clients submit: weight, measurements, energy levels, notes, and optional progress photos.
• Diet plans: PDF files you upload for a client.
• Private notes: consultation notes you add, visible only to your own account.

We only collect what the product needs to function — there are no hidden fields, and we do not ask for information unrelated to the service.

3. How we use it

Data is used solely to run the service: showing your dashboard, sending WhatsApp reminders you trigger, storing diet plans and progress history, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell client or nutritionist data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Where it's stored

Data is stored in our managed database infrastructure (Supabase/Postgres) with access restricted to your own account — a nutritionist can only see their own clients' data, never another practice's. Connections to the app are encrypted in transit.

5. Your responsibility as a nutritionist

Because you are entering your clients' personal and health information, please make sure you have your clients' consent to store and manage their data this way, consistent with your own professional and legal obligations.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not share, sell, or rent personal data to third parties. The only outside service involved in normal use is WhatsApp, which opens with a pre-filled message when you choose to send one — we do not send messages on your behalf without your action.

7. Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete a client record (and everything tied to it) at any time from the Clients page. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.

8. Security

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored in plain text. Access to client data is scoped per account, so one nutritionist cannot view another's records.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
